I did not know what to expect when we added this candle fragrance to the Sirrah Candle collection but quickly became intrigued with its subtle fragrance and immediately fell in love with it. Lavender is like a fine perfume that makes a quiet statement yet is known for its antiseptic and healing powers. With summer ending and fall beginning, unlike many other candle fragrances, Lavender Twist is one that you wouldn’t mind keeping in stock all year round.

Did you know that the history of lavender dates back some 2500 years ago from the Mediterranean and that its herbs were used to prepare the “spikenard” that is referred to in the Bible? Today lavender is used as a calming agent, to promote deeper, longer sleep and to balance emotions. In fact, since lavender is most commonly used, aromatherapy owes its very existence to it.

Sirrah Candles has created something special with the addition of the “Lavender Twist” candle. This herbaceous, aromatic and sweet lavender mixes with the exotic woods of smooth sandalwood, cedar and earthy patchouli to give this candle a unique twist on lavender. We had no choice but to call it Lavender Twist. Open the lid and you will immediately be taken back in time and drawn to this ancient fragrant candle.
